“The Nixie”, adapted from a poem by Adam Mickiewicz, is a peculariar mixture of a thriller-romance set in two parallel timelines – a modern one, and the land of XIX century polish folklore.
A young boy has fallen in love with a water nymph. Under the veil of night, they meet on the lake shore, vowing their love will last forevermore. The nixie sets to test the boy’s oath.
