Liberty, equality, murder!
Sadie and McKyla are two best friends, who are truly obsessed over social media networking and they will stop at nothing to gain as many online followers as possible. The self-titled Tragedy Girls kidnap Lowell, an unambitious local serial killer, and force him to mentor them. Nobody realises that they are the perpetrators of the gruesome murders which shock the local community. However, as it happens, the girls are the first source of information. Panic in their small town hits a fever pitch, but the girls just shrug it off and just check the number of online followers. The entire situation gets complicated when Sadie becomes more popular than McKyle and on top of it the local Sheriff launches the investigation.
The history of horror knows many films about serial killers, where men are the executioners and women are the victims. And even if they decide to commit a murder, it is usually in the act of a terrible revenge. This time we have a brush with a truly girly slasher! Tragedy Girls are unpretentious murderers. They commit crimes for pure pleasure, with no reason, not in the act of revenge, just in the framework of a true friendship. And for likes! POLISH PREMIERE
