Liam Regan was born in Sheffield, England in 1985. Growing up on a healthy diet of movies by Troma , Full Moon Pictures and Frank Henenlotter, he was inspired to study filmmaking at college in the early 2000s. 

Liam began working for Troma Entertainment in 2012 on the Starz / Anchor Bay co-production of “Return to Nuke ‘Em High” and then again back in 2013 for the documentary “Occupy Cannes”, filmed during the prestigious 66th Cannes Film Festival in France. 

His first feature length movie “My Bloody Banjo” premiered at Film4 FrightFest in Leicester Square during the Summer of 2015 and grossed out film festival audiences around the world, whilst also earning critical acclaim. 

Liam then returned to Tromaville, working on “#ShakespearesShitstorm” in 2018 before working on his latest follow up to “Banjo”, the Troma Team co-production of “Eating Miss Campbell” produced by the creator of “The Toxic Avenger”, Lloyd Kaufman.
