And the story of this jacket is something you would not understand

Georges is an unhappy and tired guy. For some reason he has just left his wife, so he gets into his car and drives. On this journey of a lifetime, he stops to buy a perfectly stylish jacket (100% deer skin). The new jacket gives him confidence – there’s no other jacket that’s quite so perfect. A new stage of life and a passionate romance are just beginning for Georges. He rents a room in a motel and behind closed doors he caresses a deer, whispers tender words to the fringes, records amateur films and gets acquainted with his new piece of clothing. The jacket finally reveals its biggest dream – becoming the only jacket in the world. True love cannot be denied, which is why Georges grabs his camera and wanders around town to find a way to destroy all of the warmer jackets in the world. The insanity slowly builds up in him, the madness deepens, and meanwhile other jackets still exist.

Quentin Dupieux, who made a wonderful movie called “Rubber”, returns with another amazing story. This time the story is full of absurdity, lies and life at the fringe of society. Although the concept of “Deerskin” sounds like a crazy and abstract variation of poor quality cinema, the leather jacket hides a depressing tale of loneliness, desperation and an attempt to give meaning to the remains of a passing life. No animal suffered during the filming, but we cannot guarantee that your psyche will not suffer during the screening. After all, it is a production with a stylish jacket made from 100% deer skin.
